Gregg Robert Mauroni recently returned to his home state of Pennsylvania after teaching at Roxbury High School and First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna in New Jersey. He is currently a music educator at Central Dauphin East High School. Mr. Mauroni holds a BS in Music Education from Penn State University, where he majored in piano (receiving Jury Recognition from the faculty) and voice, and where he is currently pursuing his Masters in Music Education. At Penn State, he assisted in directing several Penn State ensembles, including Essence of Joy with Dr. Anthony Leach, and the Penn State Women’s Chorale. Mr. Mauroni was Musical Director for Theatre Harrisburg’s productions of Smokey Joe’s Cafe and Dreamgirls, as well as Open Stage of Harrisburg’s production of Crowns. He has been an invited accompanist for ensembles including the New Jersey All-State Chorus, Harrisburg Singers, Susquehanna Youth Chorale and PMEA Songfest with conductor Nick Page. Mr. Mauroni is a sought-after choral clinician and is a commissioned arranger for several ensembles including the award-winning gospel choir Urbane.
